The 31 mile course is a diverse mix of technical single track, horse trails, country roads and a rocky section at about the halfway point. The course is out and back with just under 3000 feet of climbing.
The Race starts in the Historic Washington Crossing park in Hopewell Township, NJ. Then travels across Church Road into the State side of BaldPate to connect to Pleasant Valley rd. From Pleasant Valley rd and head around the Howell Living Farm via Valley rd to the Dry Run Creek Trail. This is a beautiful short punchy trail that leads you to the Rock Hopper trail and the Aid Station where you cross rt. 518 to access the trail head for Rock Hopper. Rock Hopper is the most technical section of the course. This year we will go out and back entering on Blue crossing the creek and picking up Red heading out to orange, crossing the power lines and turning around at the road and heading back the same way you went in. Once you exit Rock Hopper, cross back over rt. 518 you will head back to Washington Crossing the way you came. There will be Aid at the Nature Center in Wash. Xing Park, near the Pleasant Valley Rd. lot BaldPate, & at the Trail Head to Rock Hopper at RT 518. AccommodationsSpringHill Suites is just down the street from WXT and is pet friendly! Offering a heated indoor pool, fire pit and patio area.
Courtyard by Marriot is near by and features rooms with balconies and serene park-like seating areas, making it easy for you to relax before and after the WXT Ultra Trails Races. Sponsors

For the 25K you will run 3 Miles into BallPaint basically to the lot at the top of the hill turn around and follow the course back taking a direct route to the finish in Washington Crossing. The first 10 miles takes place in Washington Crossing Park. Check out the run on Strava. Baldpate Section
